It’s my birthday, and I’m 10 years old! That means I am middle aged in cat years. Which means I’m not ready for Social Security yet, and I can’t cash out my IRA yet. Wait, I don’t have an IRA. Anyhow, my human set up some party decorations in the dining room.
There wasn’t any room to hang the Happy Birthday banner, so she set it on the dining table.
The therapy organization I belong to sends me a birthday card every year, which is really nice of them!
Of course there was cake! My human tried to be really sparing with the frosting, because it was made of mascarpone, which being dairy, really isn’t that good for kitties! But she felt a little bit would be okay, since the rest of it was cat food and treats.
To be honest, I don’t think I look 10! And I don’t feel it either. I mean, how many middle aged humans can jump vertically through a hoop?
So let’s turn up the music and start dancing! Maybe if we have enough catnip, we can all do some hoop jumping.
